กิจกรรมเสริมวิชาการ "การลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก และโครงการคาร์บอนเครดิต"
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม เสริมความรู้ด้านคาร์บอนเครดิตและการลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก สร้างอนาคตที่ยั่งยืน
เมื่อวันที่ 5 มีนาคม 2568 สำนักวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม จัดกิจกรรมเสริมวิชาการ โครงการ “การลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก และโครงการคาร์บอนเครดิต” สำหรับนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 รายวิชา USM11667 เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนในศตวรรษที่ 21 ณ อาคารสยามบรมราชกุมารี โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ดร.ปราณี หนูทองแก้ว ผู้จัดการสำนักรับรองคาร์บอนเครดิต องค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) เป็นวิทยากรบรรยายให้ความรู้
โครงการนี้มุ่งเน้นการสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับคาร์บอนเครดิต กลไกตลาดคาร์บอน และบทบาทของทุกภาคส่วนในการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกนักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้ทั้งภาคทฤษฎีและสามารถนำมาประยุกต์ใช้จริงเพื่อเพิ่มความตระหนักรู้ด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและการใช้ชีวิตอย่างยั่งยืน (SDG13.1.1–13.4.2, SDG12.2.1–12.4.1)
นอกจากนี้ กิจกรรมยังสะท้อนถึงโอกาสในการสร้างนวัตกรรมคาร์บอนต่ำ (SDG9.1.1–9.4.1) การส่งเสริมพลังงานหมุนเวียน (SDG7.4.4–7.5.1) และการพัฒนาเมืองอย่างยั่งยืน (SDG11.4.1–11.4.9) อีกทั้งยังช่วยขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (SDG8.2.4–8.2.6) ส่งเสริมสุขภาพประชาชนจากการลดมลพิษ (SDG3.3.2–3.3.3) และสร้างความร่วมมือกับภาครัฐและสังคม (SDG17.2.1–17.4.4)
มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมจึงตอกย้ำบทบาทการเป็นสถาบันที่ไม่เพียงถ่ายทอดความรู้แต่ยังสร้างนักศึกษาที่มีพลังในการขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลง สู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของประเทศและโลก
SPU Students Learn Carbon Credits and Climate Action for a Sustainable Future
On March 5, 2025, Sripatum University’s School of General Education hosted an academic enrichment project titled“Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Carbon Credit” for first-year students enrolled in the course USM11667: Circular Economy in the 21st Century. The event took place at Siam Boromrajakumari Building, with distinguished speaker Dr.Pranee Noothongkaew, Manager of the Carbon Credit Certification Office, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), delivering an inspiring lecture.
The program introduced students to the concept of carbon credits, carbon markets, and the role of different sectors in reducing emissions. By connecting theoretical knowledge with practical applications, students gained awareness of climate change challenges and how they can contribute through sustainable practices (SDG13.1.1–13.4.2, SDG12.2.1–12.4.1).
This initiative also highlighted opportunities for green innovation (SDG9.1.1–9.4.1), renewable energy promotion (SDG7.4.4–7.5.1), and sustainable urban planning (SDG11.4.1–11.4.9). Moreover, carbon credit systems encourage inclusive economic growth (SDG8.2.4–8.2.6), improve public health through reduced pollution (SDG3.3.2–3.3.3), and strengthen partnerships between universities, government, and communities (SDG17.2.1–17.4.4).
By fostering climate literacy and encouraging real-world action, SPU empowers its students to become change agents, driving both environmental sustainability and socio-economic development.
