มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม ปลูกฝังจิตอาสาผ่านกิจกรรม “โลกสวยด้วยการให้ SPU Giving Day”
              เมื่อวันที่ 7 พฤศจิกายน 2567 สำนักวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม จัดกิจกรรม “โลกสวยด้วยการให้ SPU Giving Day” ณ อาคาร 11 ZONE A โดยมี อาจารย์เปรมจิต เสาวคนธ์ รองอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม เป็นประธานในพิธี และเป็นตัวแทนมอบของขวัญแก่คุณธวัชชัย อนันต์ ผู้แทนสำนักงานยุวกาชาดและอาสาสมัครกาชาด สภากาชาดไทย เพื่อนำไปมอบต่อให้เด็กและเยาวชนที่ขาดโอกาสทั่วประเทศ
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้มีนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 เข้าร่วมกว่า 9,000 คน เพื่อปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกแห่งการแบ่งปัน ทั้งเวลา กำลังใจ ความรู้ และสิ่งของ แก่เด็กและเยาวชนผู้ด้อยโอกาส เพื่อสร้างโอกาสและความหวังใหม่ให้พวกเขามีการพัฒนาที่สมบูรณ์ทั้งร่างกาย อารมณ์ สังคม และสติปัญญา อีกทั้งยังทำให้นักศึกษารู้สึกถึงการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสังคมที่กว้างขึ้น และปลูกฝังให้ “การให้” เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิตประจำวัน (SDG1.3.1–1.4.4, SDG3.3.2–3.3.7, SDG10.2.1–10.6.4)
โครงการนี้สะท้อนถึงพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมในการมุ่งสร้างบัณฑิตที่มีจิตอาสาและความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม พร้อมทั้งสร้างความร่วมมือกับสภากาชาดไทย (SDG17.2.1–17.4.4) เพื่อร่วมกันสรรค์สร้างสังคมที่ดียิ่งขึ้นและยั่งยืน

SPU Inspires Volunteer Spirit through “SPU Giving Day”
               On November 7, 2024, Sripatum University’s School of General Education organized “SPU Giving Day: A Beautiful World through Giving” at Building 11, Zone A. The event was presided over by Asst. Prof. Premjit Saowakon, Vice President of SPU, who presented gifts to Mr. Thawatchai Anan, representative of the Thai Red Cross Youth Bureau and Volunteers, to be distributed to underprivileged children and youth nationwide.

              With the participation of nearly 9,000 first-year students, the project cultivated a spirit of volunteerism, encouraging students to share their time, knowledge, and resources with disadvantaged youth. By doing so, SPU not only supported children’s holistic development—physical, emotional, social, and intellectual—but also gave students the experience of being part of a wider community (SDG1.3.1–1.4.4, SDG3.3.2–3.3.7, SDG10.2.1–10.6.4).

              The initiative highlighted SPU’s dedication to quality education (SDG4.3.1–4.4.1), reduced inequalities (SDG10.2.1), and strong community partnerships (SDG17.2.1–17.4.4) through its collaboration with the Thai Red Cross. By embedding “giving” into students’ daily lives, SPU demonstrated its mission to nurture socially responsible graduates and contribute to sustainable national development.
