SPU Students as International Event Facilitators in Australia

Office of International Relations organized the orientation on 16 November 2016 for students who have been accepted to participate in an international event “RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride” held in Australia from 25 November – 4 December 2016. A total of 4 students will join the activities as event facilitators and work with volunteer teams to co-facilitate the event. These 4 students include 2 students from Sripatum International College; Ms. Chayaporn Rojvichain and Ms. Kanyarat Verdier, and other 2 students from School of Liberal Arts; Ms. Wanrawee Kunsan and Ms. Jaksana Yimsa-ard. During the orientation, Vice President for International Affairs – Mrs. Chinda Tejavanija Chang and SPU faculty members gave advisory speech to the students, while the slide presentation was conducted by Assistant to the Director, Office of International Relations – Ms. Nattaporn Pienchob, to give the students an overview of this event and help students to be ready for the volunteering activities. It is believed that the volunteering activities will give students opportunity to develop their work-ready skills, the skills they need for a job out in the real world; such as language, International communication, teamwork, and problem solving. Students will gain experiences and friendships, which will make fantastic stories to share with others in the future.
