Academic Collaboration with the Confucius Institute of Maritime Silk Road


President Dr. Rutchaneeporn P. Phukkamarn led SPU Executives, faculty members, staff and students to welcome Phra Prommangkalachan, the Deputy Abbot of Traimitr Withayaram Woraviharn temple and Thailand Chairman of the Confucius Institute of Maritime Silk Road, to Sripatum University main campus in Bangkok on 16 November 2016. The main purpose of this visit was to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between Sripatum University and the Confucius Institute of Maritime Silk Road. The MOU signing ceremony was held at the Exhibition Hall, Building 11, and the event was also attended by the Board of Directors from the Confucius Institute of Maritime Silk Road. This collaboration aims to support Sripatum University to become a leader for the education networking, to create collaborative academic activities such as training and seminar for the benefits of faculty members and students, and finally to give impetus for Thailand’s Education to be developed and be at the top level in ASEAN.
