SPU Student Won the First Prize in IMEX-MPI-MCI-IT&CMA Future Leaders Forum 2016


As SPU student representative, Ms. Sinat Soeun, a Cambodian student in the International Hospitality Management program of Sripatum International College, participated in IMEX-MPI-MCI-IT&CMA Future Leaders Forum 2016 held at Centara Grand Hotel Bangkok from 27-28 September 2016. This forum was organized in strategic partnership with IMEX, Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and MCI Group with the support from Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA). It aims to give students, currently studying for degrees in tourism and event management including related business and administration studies, the chance to Increase their practical knowledge of MICE industry as well as to challenge conventional thinking and practices within the industry. Every year, about 60 to 70 students from universities in Thailand are selected to participate in a one-and-a-half-day workshop which includes a visit to the IT&CMA exhibition. By attending the event this year, Ms. Sinat Soeun submitted the event proposal and presented in the forum. With her proposal presentation, she was awarded the first prize and has been given a great opportunity to attend The Worldwide Exhibition for Incentive Travels, Meetings and Events 2017 (IMEX 2017), which will be taken place in Frankfurt, Germany, from 16-18 May 2017.
