Sripatum University Celebrates Sustainable Development Goals at the Global Sustainability & Productivity Network Dialogue

Bangkok, Thailand – Sripatum University, a leading institution in Thailand, proudly participated in the Global Sustainability & Productivity Network (GSPN) Dialogue held on 9th August 2023. The event, organized by the Thailand Productivity Institute, focused on “Sustainable & Productivity Goals in Thailand: An ASEAN and Global Perspective”.

The dialogue was held at the United Nations ESCAP Building, Rajadamnern Nok Avenue, Bangkok. It brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including diplomats, business leaders, and academics, to discuss and share insights on sustainable and productivity goals.

Sripatum University, known for its commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), was honored to be part of this significant event. The university believes that such platforms provide an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from others, and contribute to the global sustainability discourse.

The event featured a keynote presentation by Dr. Somkiat Tangkitvanich, President of the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI). His presentation highlighted Thailand’s ambitious pursuits in driving productivity and achieving sustainable goals from both ASEAN and global perspectives.

The dialogue also included a panel discussion on “Collaborative Approaches to Achieving SDGs: Case Studies and Lessons from Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation”. The panelists shared their experiences and lessons learned from various collaborative efforts towards achieving the SDGs.

In this occasion, Mrs. Kanjana Hannon, Vice Dean of the Sripatum University International College has direct involvement as the moderator for the Panel Discussion 2: “Driving Workforce Productivity in Thailand’s ASEAN 4.0 Era”.
