To Prepare for the Graduation Ceremony

Bachelor's degree

  • Wear a formal suit with a white long-sleeved shirt, no pattern, and white buttons. Both the shirt and slacks must be in the same color. (black and navy blue.) Wear a university necktie. If you are a monk, do wear traditional monk clothing.
  • Wear black socks with no patterns.
  • Wear plain black leather shoes with no patterns or metal inserts.
  • Wear a graduation gown.
  • Do not put flowers on the gown.
  • Do not use sunglasses or glasses that have dark lenses or with reflective substances.
  • Do not use coloring and various colored highlights. Do polite hairstyle.
  • Do not wear a mustache or beard.
  • No long nails.
  • Do not put on any jewelry.
  • Do not wear earrings.
  • Wear the SPU uniform, wear a straight black and navy skirt with a length that covers the knees. Skirs must not have pleats, sag, or slit. If you are a monk, wear traditional monk clothing.
  • Wear full length stockings, only in beige and no pattern.
  • Wear plain black court shoes with no patterns or jewelry. Do not wear heels that are too high.
  • Wear a graduation gown.

  • For long hair graduates who wish to wear their hair down, keep the left side open. Do not color, use various colored highlights, or wear hair jewelry.
